The prosecutor, who is conducting investigations in this case, Silla Hoxha, says that after the second interview of suspects, new evidence has been provided, while some of the suspects have offered co-operation with the prosecution, KTV reports.
Hoxha further says there is an order to make a financial assessment of the suspects, until he says that the videos -- phone conversations are just some of the evidence that applies suspects in this case.
And for that, on Thursday the prosecutor has also been interviewed by Ramadan Mustaf, responsible for monitoring the border line.
The lawyer who protects him calls the process a show against his client.
At the end of May, Kosovo Police in co-operation with the Police Inspectorate and Special Prosecutor, took action in the north, where they arrested 19 police officials -- among them, the commander of the police station in Zubin Potok -- with suspicions of “the misuse of official office”, “bribery” and “smuggling with goods and illegal trade”.
However, four police superiors from the north of Mitrovica who are on the run after Kosovo Police Action remain elusive.
Among the fugitives is the commander of the border surveillance police station in Leposaviq.
Until the prosecution has issued warrants for them, they are allegedly hiding in Serbia.
