The European Day without Victims on the Road has been launched for the first time by TSPOL-European Road Police Network, and has been supported by the European Commission. The main goal of this day is that no person should die on the streets of Europe on September 26th. Therefore, it is believed that the Project The EBARD could make an important contribution to further reducing road deaths and serious injuries to road traffic.
In order to further promote increased security on the road the College of Technical Sciences “The Temple”, the Kosovar Motorization Association “AMRKS” and Kosovo's Road Safety Forum aimed at marking this day in Kosovo organise roundtables with representatives from local and international institutions and organisations.
The topics of discussion during this event will be:
- The role of government institutions and concrete measures in the function of reducing the number of accidents on the streets of Kosovo;
- The activities of institutions and action plans held this year, as well as other institutions' impact on preparing and educating new generations willing to contribute to traffic management;
- Road security co-ordination of consciousness activities and challenges in road traffic related to the technical state of vehicles on the streets of Kosovo.
The table is held on September 26th, 2019, starting at 2: 00 p.m., at the College of Applied Technical Sciences building “The Temple” in Pristina.
