A few days earlier, Egzon Kryeziu's father had sought help from citizens to help him financially to heal his son.

Through a Facebook post, he wrote that his son Egzon has suffered serious bodily injuries in a traffic accident during 2018, and that he is being treated in Turkey, where he has also subjected six surgical interventions to the head, all of these interventions cost about 230 thousand euros.

He adds that he has even sold his house but that it has not yet been sold to him, adding that he will sell his kidney to heal his son.

Egzon Kryeziu, 27, of Pristina, along with his 29-year-old labour colleague Valon Qela from Mitrovica, and suffered serious bodily injuries in an accident, the communications that had occurred on the Ferizaj-Pristina road axis in January 2019.
