The Constitutional Court in Gjakova has declared the condemnation punishable against indictees N. B. for criminal work, “Blerja, possession, distribution and unauthorized sale of narcotics, psychotrope and analogue” of the Kosovo Criminal Code.

According to the court, the defendant is guilty because on June 19, about 9:00 minutes, at the border point “Qaffe Morine” Gjakova, exactly in the village of Morina, without authorization, imported narcotic substance of the type “mariah <xx3> in weight of 40 and eight kilograms and six hundred grams, which the defendant received from the person P. Q. in the town of Bajram Curr in Republika and Albania with the intention of trafficking in the Republic of Kosovo.

With these actions, indictee N. B. has committed criminal work “the possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotrope and analogue”, the work sanctioned with the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK). The court following the examination of the subject's paperwork and witness hearing has issued a conviction case for the accused N. B. subjecting him to four years in prison and fines in the amount of two thousand (2000). The defendant is obliged to pay the expenses of the judicial paushal in the amount of 100 (100) euros, as well as the amount of fifty (50) euros, on behalf of compensation of crime victims. Narcotics confiscated, a car “Opel Vectra”, a phone “Samsung A6” and cash in the amount of five thousand (5000) lek, as targets of execution and profit from criminal work”, the report says.
