According to Britain's Top Gear magazine, a prototype Chiron, directed by Andy Wallace, reached speed of 304.77 mph or 490.48 km/h on the Volkswagen car testing track in Germany.
Bugatti modified her Chiron machine by cooperating with Dallara and Michelin.
The company also modified the body of the car to improve the airship.
Tires were also produced exclusively by Michelin for this machine, which was reinforced to withstand this extremely high speed.
