No matter how late you work at the office, the manager and your boss will assess the one who started the job.
This is the last study completed by Washington University. Researchers conducted an experiment in 149 pairs of supervisors and employees. Managers appreciated all the working hours taking everything into account for each of the participants.
As the outcome of this study turned out to be that the overseers perceived late office employees as less conscientious workers.
These perceptions make no difference even if late workers work in the same number of hours as others.
According to the study, workers should also develop their own unique work style. Overseers during this research never thought negatively of workers who started their office work for at least 15 minutes ago and even considered early workers to be extremely positive, writes Lifehawker.
