Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselini has met a group of fellow fighters from various areas today. He has shared memories of war, but as he wrote on his Facebook page, the main theme with them was battles for the country's development. Wessel wrote that with his warriors U n The CK will continue the initiative to investigate and clear veterans' lists.
He has added that the battle is now for a democratic and developed state, having the fight against corruption and nepotism in priority. This is his full post: I met a group of former KLA soldiers today. We had much to talk about, we remembered the war days when we were all younger and more handsome. But most of all, we talked about the pain we have when we see our children leaving the country we've been fighting for. This is our failure; we must accept it. We fought bravely 20 years ago and won.
Today, however, we have to fight for a developed country. My fellow warriors told me that they did not fight for privileges and benefits that some people do not deserve. They fought in order to establish a democratic state with a free and fair economy, with equal opportunities, Western values and partnership with our allies. So today we have no choice, we need to overcome corruption and nepotism, just as we defeated our enemies 20 years ago. It's not an easy fight, there are many obstacles ahead of us, but we have to win it, together, for veterans, for the future of our families, for our youth, for Kosovo!
