The Kosovo Police Union expresses the indignation and concern of all the membership and the Kosovo Police officers it represents in terms of, as they say, the situation created in terms of presentation and lynching through a number of written and electronic media officials towards a number of Kosovo police officials.
This in terms of the suspension of superiors and police officials in Gjakova, as well as the case of dealing with police officials engaged in the event of the expulsion of 6 Turkish citizens in 29.03.2018 from Kosovo.
The KP union says all members of the Kosovo Police in implementing their duties and responsibilities even in these cases, as if they act in all other cases during the implementation of their duties and responsibilities, strictly carry out all their duties and responsibilities in line with legal provisions that are in force, serving the country with dignity and professionalism.
It's worrying how without their guilt they're introduced and lynched without grounds even though they haven't completed all the investigation procedures regarding these cases. In these cases police officials have implemented the initial procedures with legal provisions, the Law for Police, the Law for Foreigners and other laws in effect, the previous procedures and nothing else” are highlighted in the response of the Kosovo Police Union.
This union says it is unwarranted that nearly a year after the case took place in Gjakova will be suspended by superiors and police officials from this station.
According to them, these officials must return to their jobs while procedures in competent organs continue.
The Kosovo Police Union has stressed that it supports all actions of the Kosovo Police that are based on laws in power and performing tasks with dignity and professionalism.
If such contempt and treatment continue by anyone, the union will use all the syndical tools available to be protected. The union calls on the country's institutions to fulfill their obligations to the service.”, the KP union stresses.
