U19 National held two friendlys and training at the three-day gathering

National U19 has held the next gathering under the preparation and selection of players for the European Championship qualifications to be held in November. Selector Ramiz Krasniqi, with his two assistants Nazmi Rama and Jelal Karabegu, during the three days of this gathering have available about 30 football players, where two friendly matches with the First League teams have been held along with one exercise.

After friendly with Drenas, today, the young Dardans have developed a friendly July 2nd in the capital, in which a strong game has been shown by both teams, and the selection Krasniqi has given the occasion to play with all football players. Electoral Krasniqi has said this gathering has been very positive for the fact that, along with footballers who were part of the team before, it has given them the opportunity to show their values to 15 other players.

Even at this gathering we have had a mix of footballers playing in Kosovo and those playing abroad. As for the footballers who have gathered for the first time, we are not so satisfied, since their performance and quality in these two games has not been at the right level. However, it has been noted that football players who were earlier part of the team from European countries have shown the same shape and quality, as far as those who were for the first time might be able to choose two or three who were distinguished from this large group and serve us in the future”, Krasniqi stressed.

He has further said that the U19 Nationale will continue with such gatherings even in September and October, but that there will be no more selection of footballers. At the next two gatherings, we will focus on the footballers with whom we will present ourselves in qualifications and work on team compact and game corrections, so that we can be ready for the qualifications of November in Wales”, Krasniqi added.
Let's remember that Kosovo U19 will be part of Group 5 of the qualifications Russia, Poland and Wales are part of.
