Even though the Democratic Party of Kosovo is pro-proliferation of the assembly on August 22nd, it has not yet finalised the list of signatures from all MPs in the Parliamentary Group of this subject to go to the polls.
While all other subjects have said to have submitted lists of signatures to the assembly. Public on the official site of the Assembly, are only those of LVV and PSD.
MP The PDK, Elmi Recica, in an interview for Kosovo Press states that the PDK will back the motion on distributing the assembly next week. According to Recica, which is a leading part of the PDK, this party is ready to go to the polls and has so far collected 18 signatures of MPs.
“There is no question that PDK and Parliamentary Group The PDK will back the motion for the assembly's distribution on August 22nd and there has been no moment and there is no dilemma. We have had our positions, but since Prime Minister Haradinaj's resignation, we have come up with very clear positions, both party chairman and GP chief, but the PDK's entire nomencture. So, we're ready for elections and the PDK wants to go to the elections, it's not shut down yet because some of the MPs have been on vacation, but I believe that very soon the list of signatures from MPs will sign the motion. Therefore, on August 22nd MPs will be there to vote for parliament's distribution motion”, says Recica.
As for pre-election coalitions with any political subject expected to be held in the extraordinary elections, Recica says the PDK will participate in the elections alone, but after they are held, this subject will have no red lines with any political party for forming the new government. While, whether the PDK is ready to remain in opposition, Recica claims voters decide.
“This time the PDK entered the race to win and get the prime minister, and he is Kadri Wessel. It should be seen that even after elections that are expected to be held now, we as political parties, either of the position or of the opposition, must co-operate. But, The PDK is what it has accepted and will always accept the election results. In this respect, the sovereign decides. Absolutely all are possible and we have no red lines in this regard. I cannot cull it, all parties from the conceptually and from the practical point of view the governing programme of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and Prime Minister Veselin can be part of the” coalition, he declares.
For today's meeting between LDK leader Isa Mustafa and VV leader Albin Kurti, MP Recica claims their meeting is meaningless if they recall their history and reports with deep hostility.
These meetings for my opinion are very strange and are somewhat abnormal. We know that this story is very close and that we know the reports between their subjects and individual ones. However, for us both the PDK and the country, it is very good when political and party leaders and those who have deep hostility when they have tried with all means and forces to eliminate each other not only politically, sit down and talk. For us, this is an opportunity to see the disruption in political life and I am hoping that they don't have just to send inadequate and inadequate messages to other political parties”, says Recica.
