(7 years ago)Kosovo police in the function of carrying out legal duties and authorisations have taken continuous action to implement strategies and police plans that are related to combating negative phenomena, organised crime, as well as illegal activities in general, which can directly or indirectly affect the overall security or welfare of citizens [...]
A large number of police operations on a scale have also been realised in this context, including the uncompetitive fight against criminal acts that, according to the Penal Codes, are named éfajdeı, and as a result of these intensive efforts and operations, suspected persons have been arrested, various evidence have been seized, while such cases in consultation with relevant prosecutors have been handled and processed to the application of applicable laws.
The week we are leaving behind (days 23.08.2019), the Kosovo Police, namely, the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime, following the admission of information that two suspected persons are repeatedly involved in criminal acts; CHAfaydeão, duty and so forth. Police immediately, in co-ordination with competent justice bodies, have implemented control of the locations of suspects involved.
The police operation started with the 238.2019 at 2:30 at two locations, with NJSO's support in Pristina and a unit from the Crem-Technica Directorate.
This operation has been seized: a (1) type pistol, 765m a clip with five (5) rounds, a (1) car, a DVR, and some relevant documentation in the case.
The first suspect has not been found in the house so the same is in a police search, and the second suspect has been arrested and sent to the detention order of the prosecutor.
Following the police and prosecutor's intensive commitments a day later, the identification and arrest of the second wanted person to whom three mobile phones have been confiscated (3) and the same has been submitted to holding for further procedures.
In 24.8.2019, police have arrested another (2) two people as suspects involved in the above-mentioned case and investigations are under way.
Police, based on its legal mandate, collect and analyse data on various criminal phenomena that could pose a threat to society and also make operational planning for preventing criminal acts, in concrete cases of impeachment and obligation.
The purpose of these police operations is the identification, prevention, investigation and arrest of suspects who are in any way incriminating by criminal acts of conviction and obligation.
Close co-operation with the State Prosecutor, in terms of combating such criminal acts, as well as co-operation with citizens in this direction, have yielded results.
