In this regard, Agriculture Minister Trajan Dimovski has reacted. He said that the ban on import of disappears and fish sands from Kosovo does not present specific stops for Kosovo alone.
Dimovski explained that the Republic of Northern Macedonia is aimed at obtaining permission for export of fresh fish to the European market, and that standards have been increased for this reason in the industry. He stressed that he expects solutions for dialogue to be reached soon.
“They are not implementing monitoring, they have no explosive stoppages, just because they are products of the Republic of Kosovo, but that the measure applies to all other states. If it proves that they are implementing monitoring, there will be no problem”- said Trajan Dimovski, minister of Agriculture, among other things.
It is noteworthy that North Macedonia during the year exports about 40 to 1,000 tonnes of potatoes to Kosovo, while the value of honey exported to Kosovo totals about 400,000 euros.
