The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has made a status in his official Facebook profile in connection with recent polarisations and insults by supporters of Vetevendosje activists.
He has once again expressed the desire and interest to form a pre-election coalition with the Vetevendosje Movement, but has been determined that the prime minister's position should meet Mrs. Vjosa Osmani, and that because of membership requirements and because they want good governance and no corruption.
Mustafa has said he does not underestimate Mr. Albin Kurti and his merits are willing to for the sake of the country to forget the reproach and attacks that Vetevendosje has committed against him in the past.
I consider co-operation a process of mutual respect. I've swallowed the past because I've valued the country's interest above myself. ” writes Professor Mustafa.
He has denounced the way Vetevendosje is trying to win votes by disparaging Vetevendosje Movement and its candidate for prime minister.
This is his full status on Facebook:
Dear citizens,
I am engaged, I remain loyal to the idea and dedication of the country being governed by until now opposition parties, the LDK and Vetevendosje. In our situation, I consider that the best solution.
Both the LDK and the Vetevendosje Movement have their own specifications. There are people with whom you count victory and governance. They have the inner environment that stands out.
I do not give LDK the right to mix with which of the VV should be the country's prime minister. But I don't give even the VV the right to assign us how LDK should decide for the prime minister and campaigners.
I consider cooperation a process of mutual respect. I've swallowed the past because I've valued the country's interest above myself.
We have expressed ourselves positively on a coalition with the VV in the interest of strengthening the state and decontinating the country.
The LDK, it does not seek the prime minister, because it underestimates Mr. Albin Kurti and his merits. But you don't appreciate Mrs. Osman and membership requests. It values the competence of the LDK, its team, for good governance and no corruption. That's why our request for Prime Minister.
If we are convinced that both sides belong to the prime minister, this does not mean that we should open the front line between ourselves. We have many good things that can address each other for our cooperation, but we also have bad things. That's not how we try to win votes. I prefer to build common fronts, before or post-election, to make it impossible PAN and their supporters continue to destroy the state. IM
