Lightning takes four lives in Poland, over 100 others injured

The fifth person was killed in neighbouring Slovakia. At least one of the victims was told that he was a child.
The storm is said to have come down suddenly after a sunny morning.
No one expected such a sudden storm to erupt, and from our human perspective it was something that was impossible to predict” said Morawiecki during an emergency meeting.
There were reports of casualties in various parts of the mountain range. At least four rescue helicopters were sent to the area.
