Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy leader Memli Krasniqi has said he is not at all preoccupied with whether a pre-election coalition between the LDK and the VV will occur. But, he has commented in two ways on the run of these two parties to join with each other.
Krasniqi says For Periscope that it is their fear of going to the elections alone, as they know the PDK will be the winner of the election. Krasniqi stresses support for The PDK is growing daily and is the only subject to fight corruption and bring about changes in the country.
Subheader The PDK has also said that even if such a coalition happens, with Isa Mustaf there, there will be no fight against corruption.
I don't know and I don't understand whether they will form a pre-election coalition or not. But, I know two things; first of all, no fight against corruption will come out of this coalition, part of which is Isa Mustafa, and second is that they are afraid to come out alone in elections because they know that the PDK is strengthening and gaining trust in people that we will fight corruption and make changes in this country. They fear”, Krasniqi said.
The LDK and VV are now trying to build a pre-election coalition, but high positions are not allowing them to agree. The two subjects are fighting for the prime minister's post. Vjosa Osmani has already been formalised as a candidate for prime minister from LDK, meanwhile VV has its chairman, Albin Kurti. August 30th is the last day for them to have an eventual agreement, as on this date there is also the deadline for confirming pre-election coalitions. /Periscope.
