Arsenal completed the transfer of Chierney to the final day of the passing summer deadline.
Scottish left guard reportedly was on Unai Emerry's radar since the end of the past edition, when it was clear that the “Toopchits” needed a new protector.
Negotiations continued for months, and at 5:48 Thursday, Arsenal finally confirmed the transfer, Periscopi broadcasts.
Tierney was transferred from Celtic for about 28m euros, but 22-year-old will have to wait for debut because he is injured.

The first signs allude that he will not be able to begin training for four to six weeks.
Despite that, however, Tierney still managed to break Arsenal's record in the club's medical tests.
In fact, he set a new record in vertical jump.
Pierre-Emerick Aubamyang held the previous record after jumping 54cm, but Tierney jumped an inch higher.
