Jun Saito told reporters that Tokyo's official position was that Pristina should lift the move so that dialogue can resume, saying normalising Serbian-Albanian relations is the key to stability in the region.
The fundamental position of Japan is that dialogue must continue”, Saito said, specifying that this is Tokyo's official position.
