This announcement was made in the context of tensions in the Middle East, where the US has increased pressure against Iran, which it accuses of destabilising the region.
Washington withdrew from the deal to limit the Iranian nuclear programme in May 2018 and has since restored serious sanctions against Tehran.
Tension has still increased between two countries following sabotages and ship attacks in the Persian Gulf and the destruction of an American threat from Tehran.
“System “Falagh” is the local reworked version of the “radar surveillance Gamma”, the Isna news agency, reports Atsh.
“This radar is able to identify and locate all kinds of missiles, aircraft, systems and ballistic missiles, with an action ray of 400 km”, said Air Army Defence Forces chief Alireza Sabahi-Fard.
