The incumbent Minister, Gift Hoxha, said she has successfully completed the project of economic empowerment of war survivors.
She said that this project has benefited many women who have created economic independence.
“Today I have come to the Women's Defense Center in Drenas, led by Cadire Tahiri, to promote the successful completion of the project of economic empowerment of war survivors. This project has been supported by the Minister of European Integration, but on the other hand it has been a very important project because it has provided professional training, it becomes the ability of women. Indeed, it is a very important project for me, because empowering the woman in Kosovo society and Kosovo is very important, because knowing the role of the woman who should have in our society, but also on the other side of the woman's economic empowerment of goods and benefits are very large”, she said.
While Centre for Women's Rights Director in Drenas, Kadire Tahiri said they are very proud of the work of these women, while thanking Minister Hoxha for continuing support.
“Today the Centre for Promoting Women's Rights in the Drenas municipality completed the economic empowerment project of war survivors. The project has lasted six months and 80 women have benefited from this project. We've performed four courses, clothing courses, artisanal courses, FIMO courses and hanging courses. I thank the Minister of European Integrations who supported us in the economic empowerment of war survivors as well as the economic empowerment of the women and girls of Drenas. We are very proud and with the work of these women who work these tear and hope necklaces and these necklaces donated to worshipers of Kosovo”, she said.
In this case, 46 women were certified in the course of tailorry, artisans, and FIMO (work with plastic).
13 certificates were separated for women from the clothing course, 27 certificates from the artisanal course and 6 from the FIMO course. Among them more than half are young girls.
