Seven people were killed Wednesday during a football match, as the field in which they were playing flooded with water that had been poured out of a river near southern Morocco.
Local authorities announced that among the dead is a 17-year-old and six men playing soccer in the village of Tizert, in the Taroudant region.
The search teams have saved one person who was hurt by the floods, and are looking for another missing one.
The river had come out of bed and flooded the area in which an amateur football tournament was being held, the AFP reported, follows Express.
