The Third Year of Marriage

There is a theory that love lives only three years. Then a couple separate, or their relationship becomes less ideal than before. In reality, after three years in a relationship, people are more inclined to acknowledge their partner's weaknesses and thus feel more comfortable. It is also common that in the third year of family life, a couple decide to have a child. As a result, their relationship becomes stronger. It's the third year of marriage believed to be happier.

Fifth Year of Marriage

First real problems can begin in the fifth year of family life. During this period, children are still young and require great care. This is very difficult to combine with work, cleaning houses and other everyday problems. After five years together, couples start thinking about divorce and addressing lawyers. This year is believed to be the hardest.

The Seventh Year of Marriage

If a couple stay together after five years of marriage, then another obstacle is waiting for them to cross. It's the 7th year of family life that experts call “mur”. At this time, family life becomes routine. There may also be financial matters, matters of child care, and disputes over sharing family responsibilities. This is a very complicated period. If marriage mates can get through that hand, a strong and happy marriage will be ahead.
