The prime minister's Agency for Gender Equality/Office strongly condemns the murder of citizen Armenda Aliu in Prizren for her husband.
Through a media response, ABR points out that domestic violence is a criminal act punishable and monstrous.
The other acts of violence and sexual harassment that have occurred in the past few months are unacceptable to us as Agency but as society. Acts of violence and their perpetrators must be condemned by law organs and morally by all of our society”, said in response.
The Agency for Gender Equality draws attention to state institutions, civil society organisations, communities, the whole society for increased presence of weapons owned by citizens and violent and aggressive behavior that are resulting in the loss of citizens' lives, the not being entitled to rights and disrespect of dignity, especially of our wives, mothers, sisters and daughters.
“As the Agency, we remain deeply committed and committed to protecting life, respecting its dignity, right of life and joy by the daughters and sons of this country in accordance with human rights, and especially women's rights” are highlighted in response.
The agency also expresses the deepest condolences to the victim's family and secures all victims of domestic violence and gender bases and family members of these past months, and before our support and our commitment to seeking and ensuring justice will not be lacking.
