Deputy Minister Selmani: Support for Farmer Women Will Continue

Vushter, August 08th 2019, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Myzeye Selmani, has visited the Agriculture Products Fair in Vushtrri, which is organised by the “Gra of Studies” and has been supported by the MBPZHR.

In this case, Deputy Minister Selmani, commending them for organising this fair, which, according to her, is a better possibility of promoting local products, has stressed that women farmers will consistently have the ministry's support in expanding their agricultural activities.

 “institutional financial support for women dealing with agricultural activities will increase steadily. Within the framework of the MBPZHR's agricultural and rural development programme during this, we will support many farmers' women, with the aim of creating opportunities for the advantage of women in the development of their agricultural activities”, Selmani has said.

She has stressed that in addition to all this support for farm women, more needs to be done to reinforce the role of women in agriculture, with the aim of improving their skills and creating opportunities for farming crops.

During the day, Deputy Minister Selmani has visited the farmer, Anduena Jusufi, who deals with the stock and Malice Mustafa, who deals with the beekeeper, both from the Mitrovica municipality, and who have been the beneficiary of MBPHR grants.

In this case the deputy minister has seen closely the agricultural activity taking place on the farms of these farmers, and on this occasion has promised you that support for farmers will never be lacking.
