Before that, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Denmark did so.
Muslim groups and human rights activists have opposed the law, which is officially called “a partial ban on clothing covering the face”.
The Islamic political party in Rotterdam has announced it will pay a 150-euro fine for anyone caught breaking the law,
