American media report that the Justice Department has conducted an investigation into the world's largest social network of videos in recent months, the Online Economy broadcasts.
Of them, YouTube has violated a law prohibiting advertising in videos when users are under 13 years of age.
Sources from the U.S. State Department said YouTube collected personal data from children, on behalf of the mother company Google.
This is prohibited from protecting online privacy for children.
YouTube leaders have yet to comment on these investigations.
Last month, this platform announced it would make changes predicting the creation of individual profiles for children, with limited access to videos published on YouTube.
