Belgu Charles Michel will assume the post of president of the European Council and Spaniard Josep Borrell is designated as chief of European diplomacy.
International Monetary Fund General Director (FMN) Christine Lagarde said very highly honoured to be appointed president of the European Central Bank (BQE).
“In view of what happened and consulting the Ethics Committee of the Administration Council, I have decided to temporarily give up the functions of the IMF general director during the appointment period”, she writes on a Twitter.
