Wessel in Washington: Kosovo's Cup most transparent and openr institution for public

At this forum, Chief Prime Minister Kadri Veselini has spoken of transparency, accountability and opening of the Kosovo Assembly for the media, civil society and citizens.

“Transparency is the only guarantee that public institutions gain citizens' trust. Trust in public institutions is central to a democracy. The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is the most transparent institution due to the implementation of certain policies involving the opening of this institution. We have opened the Assembly to have access to all, such as the media, civil society, interest groups and citizens”, Veselin said.

The head of the Kosovo Assembly spoke to the audience about modernising information instruments in the Kosovo Assembly.

Between modern technology we have made co-operation in the lawmaking process for all interest groups, enabling direct access to civic activism. Today, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is open to all age groups, creating active approaches for citizens to see, touch and understand the highest institution in their Republic, said Wessel.
