He has also sought to strengthen relations with Russia and China and protect Kosovo lands, writes Indexline.
“Let's replace Popovic and tell citizens he has left because he has defended respect for the Constitution and Resolution 1244 regarding Kosovo. And because he was unwilling to break his oath to the Constitution, like all other ministers, that all of Kosovo is Serbia, not even a metre less.”, the People's Party has said in their response.
Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabic, has overheard Popovic, saying he is not responsible for Eurointegration and Brussels agreements.
“... a minister without portfolio is not responsible either for the Brussels Agreement and the estimates of the Brussels Agreement, not for European Integration in Serbia's Government. These statements could be issued as president of his party, rather than on behalf of the Government,” Brnatic said in a statement.
Popovic's scandalous statements have commented on other Serbian politicians, some backing him and some not.
