Characteristics were discovered by young engineering specialist Jane Manchun Wong, who posted scraps of features on Twitter.
“We are always experimenting with new ways to improve the app for our community”, TechCrunch's spokesman said on Saturday.
TikTok's spokesman, however, refused to offer further details about the company's plans, but confirmed that the characteristics were the things the company is working on.
TikTok has 700 million worldwide users, of which some 200 million are in India.
TikTok is working on tear divided layout.
