Minister Tahiri announced Ambassador Schuurman about reforms in the justice system in order to strengthen fundamental rights and prevention and fighting and all forms of discrimination.
He stressed that the Civil Code has been finalised, which reflects the liberal spirit of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, while several other measures are under way, which will advance and strengthen human rights.
Furthermore, Minister Tahiri has indicated that he has called on responsible institutions that all cases of human rights violations be handled with priorities and pledged that he will remain committed to effective implementation of legislation.
While Ambassador Schuurman stressed that it has been announced with reforms undertaken in the justice system and that she highly praised the Ministry of Justice's commitment in preparing a number of laws that have recently been adopted.
