Is sex after separation a good idea? Well, sex therapists say sex after separation can be distracting.
If you broke up with your partner, you can't hope that sex will bring you back together.
Holly Richmond, a sexy therapist in New York City, says sex after separation won't save the relationship, and if you do it then it'll only last a few weeks.
If both partners understand why they can't be together and are satisfied with separation, sex can be just about one last time.

On the other hand, if a person does not want the relationship to end, he may seek to have sex as a way to say,” Look how good we are. Are you sure you want to give up all this?
For divisions that end with mutual understanding, sex can be a beautiful “endup”.
Anyway, sex type “I want to go back with you”, it's not a good idea.
Accepting separation takes time and trying to ease the pain of sex will prolong the process, Richmond says.
Unfortunately, sex after separation will not give you the end you want!
