Serbia submits Tomor Morina extradition request from Northern Macedonia

The Serbian Justice Ministry has handed over to Northern Macedonia the request for the extradition of former KLA member Tomor Morina has been confirmed to Tanjug news agency by this minister.
Morina was arrested last week at the Blaca border checkpoint, according to Interpol's arrest warrant. He in Serbia is wanted under suspicion that he committed war crimes against Serb civilians in Kosovo.
The investigation is leading the Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor.
In addition to the extradition requirement, Serbia should also submit the subject-related documents, while the decision that conditions have been met for extradition will bring Macedonian justice, KTV reports.
The final decision on Serbia's request is brought by the Macedonian Justice Minister.
On the other hand, numerous reactions have been in connection with Morina's arrest. Apart from Kosovo officials, reactions occurred even among Albanian political parties in Skopje.
But Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has said the law will be respected in this case.
