Hair loss affects men most, and for many it is a problem.
Scientists have made an important discovery in dealing with this problem after creating seemingly natural hair from stem cells.
American researchers say that they have discovered a method that allows hair to grow through the skin of mice using papyrus skin cells that stem from people's pluralonent stem cells, writes Sky Nea.
The study included stem cells of people who are combined with mouse cells before they are placed on a biodegradable 3D scaffold made from the same materials as a digest.
This helped control the direction of hair growth and the integration of stem cells into the skin.
These findings have been presented at the International Association's annual meeting for Burimore Cells in Los Angeles.
Our new <x0...Protocol exceeds the key technological challenges that have kept our discovery from actual use”, said Alexey Terskik, from the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute in California.
Now, scientists are looking to apply the same process to people as a treatment against hair loss.
