“singer You Have Me” has been in a “station” to perform concerts in every country in the world, while after concerts in distant countries, including North Korea and Saudi Arabia, it was left only Iran.
However, her plans were sunk by officials, who implemented Iran's law that women cannot perform in public concerts and she was ordered to leave after she tried to enter the country, writes KOHA Ditore.
“Skkom in Iran, we were arrested and then deported”, the 32-year-old said in a video posted on the Instagram.
Explaining further the title, the soul music star insisted that she did not plan to perform concert in this country, because she did not want to go to prison, writing: “It seems like the authorities did not believe we would perform at the public concert, so they put us into what they call black writers, as we discovered when we showed up in the immigration hall.
After long discussions with very friendly, charming and hospitable people, the decision was made to stop us for one night and to deport us in the morning”.
Joss went on to commend officials for her good treatment and that they were touched by her story that she was trying to perform everywhere. The star also pledged to complete its round of world media if Iran's laws change.
