In a media communiqué from the Kosovo Police Information Office, it is said that some participants in traffic on this highway, specifically on the bridge over the Lepenc River, out of curiosity and because of the beauty this bridge offers, stop with their vehicles in emergency strips and descend from vehicles where in many cases they also take different photographs, and this has been done in groups, with what is endangered their safety and other participants in traffic.
Police say that with the aim of increasing security on the highway, over the past three weeks has declared a total of 33 tickets in this location.
“28 tickets to drivers to stop on the highway, 5 tickets to the pedestrian movement on the highway. Kosovo police, appeal and demand from citizens in general and drivers in particular to respect road traffic regulations, with particular emphasis not to violate highway rules because they are risking their lives and others. Police will punish all those who commit such violations”, the Kosovo Police Community says.
