Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, has hosted a meeting today in his cabinet, the ambassador of Great Britain to Kosovo, Ruairi O'Connell.
The purpose of this meeting was to formalise the Federation of Ragby in Kosovo, as well as concreteisation, consolidation and promotion of this sport in our country, Periscopi broadcasts.
On this occasion, Minister Gashi thanked British Ambassador for the overall co-operation and his contribution to Ragby's sport and expressed readiness to continue this co-operation further, aiming to jointly implement projects in various fields.
Minister Gashi also congratulated the ambassador for the opening of the Ragby Federation in Kosovo and wanted prosperity in the competitions to be organised in the sport.
“Today is a special day for sports in Kosovo, as we are now formalising the Federation of Ragby. We, like the MKRS, will be fully committed to making our contribution to the development of this sport with little tradition in our country”.
Meanwhile, Ambassador O'Connell thanked Minister Gashi for his reception and willingness to establish the Ragby Federation in Kosovo and expressed satisfaction that the MKRS is creating new opportunities for athletes in Kosovo. /Periscope. com/
