Serbian football clubs in Kosovo continue not to recognise the Kosovo Football Federation, and matches are held on Kosovo territory as part of Serbian leagues operating under the umbrella of the Serbian Football Federation.
The FFK is eager to put an end to this, so today its Executive Committee has been assembled to analyze the situation and has vowed to address FIFA, UEFA and the order bodies in the country for this.
“The EC initially examined and analysed the situation around the so-called club Shrapcha from Northern Mitrovica, in the third division of the Republic of Serbia, so for the EC this is unacceptable because only The FFK has the right to host the territory of the Republic of Kosovo's football competition”, the NFF report said.
Kosovo's governing football body has reiterated that it is willing to accept in its competition system all minority teams in the country.
“NFFK has always been willing to accept minority clubs in its competitive system, so Serbia's efforts to intervene in Kosovo's competitive system are not only unacceptable, but the FFK will seek strongly from the U. EFA, FIFA, the Ministry of Sports and Police use their authority to prevent these actions of Serbia and urging the Serbian Federation to stop these attempts at intervention in Kosovo's competitive system”, it is said further in the statement.
The EC had a broad discussion about the race system for all ranks, and with one compliance approved the racing system for all competition ranks. The EC considered Kosovo football's competition regulation and, after discussions, approved this regulation. The EC appointed and reformed all relevant NFF Commissions.
