Just this morning over 5 thousand Kosovars have entered Albania

Albania continues to remain Kosovo's favourite country.

In the early hours of this morning, border police in Albania reportedly have entered over 5 thousand Kosovars.

The “this morning has had a huge influx of Kosovo citizens in Albania, where only the first hours of the morning have entered over 5,000 citizens”, the report says.

Through a Facebook announcement by police in Albania, State Police Director Ardi Veliu, reportedly in the early hours of today's morning, has inspected the Border Control Point Morina.

Border police have been stepping up measures aimed at creating facilities for avoiding long lines as a result of the influx.

Deputy Director Veliu has asked border police officers for maximum commitment and performance by offering citizens a quality service. He ordered the management of the border police in Morina that in cases of influx to apply accelerated procedure, but on the other hand, police employees will exercise control on the second line of all means suspected of lawlessness”, the report said.

Veliu, during his conversation with border police leaders, asked them that during the season police services for both Morina's point and the green border be fully engaged in the service of citizens and in preventing and striking lawlessness.

Veliu has also called for increased patrols on the green border, as in seasons or cases of flows trends toward developing lawlessness are oriented on the green border.
