The Constitutional Court in Pristina has pronounced the detention measure for a month to suspect S.O for rape and later to murder 11-year-old in Fushe Kosovo.
In the press communiqué, it is said that S.O.S.O. has been suspected of major murder and violence.
The Constitutional Court in Pristina -- the Randa Crime Department -- has ruled on the request of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina for the appointment of the detention measure against indictees S.O. Due to criminal acts, the serious murder by Article 173 par.1 points 1.1 and the articles 227 par.7 related to par.1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code.
The court has taken office and defendants S.O. has assigned the detention measure for a month. The court has estimated that legal conditions for the appointment of the detention measure by Article 187 par.1 under par.1.2, dot 1.2.1, 1.22 and 1.2.3 of the KPRK have been met, for the fact that if the defendant found himself in freedom the same could escape, with the intent of avoiding criminal procedure, could eliminate, alter, change the evidence of criminal work, affect witnesses, and there is the risk of repeating the same or similar criminal work. Against this ruling the side is entitled to complaint at the Kosovo Court of Appeals.
