The goal of this match that proved to be strong and with many duels was marked from the start.
Baghdad Bounedjah tried from outside the area by finding the gate after a deviation that left goalkeeper Alfred Gomis impressed.
Senegal at the end of the first half demanded penalty with M'Bay Niang, but the judge did not agree.
In the second half, Senegal had a penalty claim.
Niang took a risk in the 66th minute, but his shot went over the gate.
Algeria responded to Youssouf Sabaly, after a few minutes, but neither was that successful.
Until the end the Algerians were well protected and won the trophy.
