The justice ministry considers the Vetevendosje Movement's deliberate political intervention in the professional process and the legal standards of the Noteria exam unacceptable.
MD describes this intervention as an open attempt to sabotage one of the most important reforms that enable more efficient, faster and closer citizens to notary services.
As a process carried out exclusively on the Law on Noteria and other accompanying acts, organising the Noteria exam and assessments of the professional commission are purely professional and not political issues.
The increase in the number of swimmers is at the centre of justice reforms, because notary services are currently missing in a significant part of the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, and the country's citizens need direct access to these services as close as possible and at less financial expense.
Such intervention of the Vetevendosje Movement in this professional process is to the exclusive benefit of interest groups, which because of the circumstances of the lack of sufficient numbers of swimmers, have developed a complete practice of monopoly in notary services.
Consequently, Vetevendosje, trying to boost the sabotage of this professional process, in fact, is taking to defence for the purpose of specific acts that have benefited millions of euros from their monopolies in the field of Noteria.
The justice ministry assures citizens that it is committed to implementing reform aimed at increasing the number of swimmers in all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo and in all its communities indiscriminately.
After the completion of this professional Noteria exam process, the phase of their recruiting will begin in full compliance with the legislation in force and in close monitoring by our development partners.
With the recruit of new swimmers, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo throughout its territory, notary services will be able to take with a faster, more efficient and closer approach to their settlements.
The Justice Ministry invites Vetevendosje Movement to end this attempt, because the collapse of monopolies is citizens' demand, our development partners' demand, and is in full function of easier and more efficient access to justice.
