Kusari-Lila: Haradinaj made calculations before heading for The Hague

Alternative Speaker Mimoza Kusari-Lila has said Ramush Haradinaj's decision, which resigned from the prime minister's post to go to The Hague, is his calculations. In a conversation with Koha.net, she says that after his resignation, Haradinaj has had to leave the country to one of the three deputy prime ministers, and that the Kosovo government will function only technically and not to make constitutional decisions.
“Former Prime Minister Haradinaj has clearly made another calculation with the invitation to interview in The Hague from what he publicly stated. He publicly stated that in The Hague, he would go as a simple citizen of Kosovo, not as prime minister, while we saw that he went to The Hague as the staunchly-designed Prime Minister who he thought would hold even after returning to Kosovo. It is true that it is the first time a prime minister resigns from his post in Kosovo, but it is also true that the Constitution envisions that after the resignation of Prime Minister Government falls and the country must go to the polls. The former prime minister has had to leave one of his incumbent deputy prime ministers and the government only technically function without any other government decision at full capacity. This was seen as an entry into the election campaign aimed at triggering the popular initiative for former Prime Minister”'s personality, Kusari-Lila said.
In addition, Kosovo Parliament deputy Kusari-Lila has commented on the current political situation since Ramush Haradinaj's resignation from the prime minister's post. Like many other MPs, she says it is already time for President Hashim Thaci to call a date for elections.
The political parties represented in the Parliament during the week we left behind have declared themselves ready for early elections, and after such a statement, it is up to the president of the Republic to call the parties for consultations on the election date. This situation, I believe, would be very simple as the process, only that the stated will should be the same as the thought. But now in this situation, it seems that parties one speak and think. While it is evident that significant roles will also have an internal election in the LDK, as this party represents the largest opposition party”, Kusari-Lila said.
It also says the elections are the only possibility for a Government and for stable institutions.
Whatever other solution would be unstable in the current situation created in Kosovo with the challenges facing the country”, she said.
On the other hand, Kusari-Lila has told the Koha.net portal that her party will definitely be part of a pre-election coalition whenever it reaches the elections. He says they are in consultation with the Democratic League and the Vetevendosje Movement, although he has talked to the latter more specifically.
“We have communication and co-ordination with the two major opposition parties LDK and LVV, while with this second we have talked concretely about the possibilities of pre-election co-operation, but we still have nothing defined. If we go to the elections, and it seems we should go anyway, the alternative will be part of a pre-election coalition”, it is over.
