The well-known media rights lawyer, Butterfly Kusari, has made a post in her Facebook profile following Prime Minister Haradinaj's resignation.
She has said that “would be desirable for Kosovo to be led by a woman. ”
Since 1999, Kosovo has never had a woman at the top of the executive. While from 2011 until 2016, Atifete Jahjaga exercised the office of president by being solely elected by parties of the then parliamentary majority. Jahjaga had been nominated by former US Ambassador Christopher Dell, who currently serves as consultant of the company that lays out Kosovo highways, Bechtel.
We remember Haradinaj resigned after the invitation he made to Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague in the quality of the witness. /Periscope
