Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti has given a speech during the gathering of the Socialist International that is being held in Ramallah and Tel Aviv.
Kurti in this speech has said Palestine with Israel together do not recognise Kosovo. But Kurti has said they remain united, but knowing Kosovo.
Kurti has called for resolving the long-standing conflict between these two peoples in the Middle East, saying it helps peace in the world.
<x0...Pop peoples in both countries, in Israel and Palestine, according to polls, prefer two-state resolution”, Albin Kurti has said.
This is his full speech:
During the meeting of the Socialist International, which is being held in Ramallah and Tel Aviv, I have given a speech, some of the following emphasiss:
“Vis from Kosovo, which was released 20 years ago while declaring independence 11 years ago. We've gone through discrimination, oppression, long and vicious exploitation. So far, the Republic of Kosovo has recognised over 110 states. Israel and Palestine are united in not recognising Kosovo. Let them remain united, but by recognising both independent Kosovo.
Peoples in both countries - Israel and Palestine - prefer two - states solution. This is also the position of the Socialist International, expressed at the meeting of its Council held in Santo Domingo in January of this year. Politicians need to hear more people.
Peace is not an event. Agreements are necessary, but insufficient. Peace is work. War is an event.
Much work is needed for peace, organized, and systematic work without war in the meantime. Peace is double peace: building peace, plus without war in the middle - with war prevention.
Peace as a job means that peace is social for character and content.
National and cultural differences are never the cause of conflict. We never fight why we're different. The differences are eventually used and abused within conflict and conflict. The sides fight because they have opposing interests, which may not be true, in the sense that they are more elites than peoples. This is the issue of the representation crisis.
People manage to be somewhat represented in institutions thanks to democratic elections, but they are not represented in the war being fought on their behalf. It's no wonder there can be something called democratic war. The very war marks the capital failure of democracy. War is deformity, not transformation. The war is at odds not only with peace but also with democracy. The war is to say. Peace is social.
Working for peace, building peace, preventing conflict and war, we transform peace into culture. But it should not be forgotten that peace is social rather than cultural. Employment and production, equality and well-being are almost everything.
Peace is social. The war is to say. ”
