The event for fines and seizures of cars from illegal parking lots, which has begun on June 10th, is continuing.
More than 2,000 fines have been pronounced so far.
Pristina Regional Traffic Commander Major Milaim Feyzullahu said the fines are being issued only with the number of vehicle registrations.
“In this plan we are continuing back and forth an extremely good success has been observed for the release of sidewalks, releasing fines with only the number of registrations. As the vehicle is a traffic barrier, police issue the ticket only according to the registration number, while the other vehicle data we get at the vehicle registration center”, he told RTV Dukagjin, Milaim Feyzullahu.
Feyzullahu said that in addition to fines, vehicles have even been pulled back with a marble.
“at the same time for the release of sidewalks, over 100 abandoned vehicles have been withdrawn because there are many abandoned vehicles in the capital, and which are left in disrepair of”, Milaim Feyzullahu said further.
This action on fined and confiscated vehicles will continue until September.
