After KDI, even Hoti Academy wants Government to take the wheel of dialogue

The head of the LDK Parliamentary Group, Avdullah Hoti, has once again presented this party's stance about dialogue with Serbia, that as such it should be guided only by the Government of Kosovo, which is also legitimate. Kosovo has lost two full years with the non-religious interventions of the president and government through the dialogue team in the dialogue process. All this has happened because the prime minister has abstained from constitutional competencies, trying to retain competencies initially to the president through the draft platform that the prime minister brought to the Assembly in April 2018, and then to the dialogue team through the platform and the non-binding law for dialogue”, Hoti said.
It has also highlighted the Constitutional Court's decision, which praised the Negotiator Team unconstitutional.
The Constitutional Court has clearly stated it. The dialogue is guided only by institutions that have constitutional competencies to represent Kosovo on such issues. Anyone else who intervened in this process committed constitutional violations, as the coalition has done PAN through the dialogue team and just like the President is doing every day. The LDK remains committed to this issue. The Constitutional Court's decision has given us full justice, that dialogue is guided by the Government with oversight of the Parliament. The president has only a consultative role. We believe that dialogue should be guided only by the Government, which is legitimate, based on the platform based on the Constitution of Kosovo and approved by 2/3 of the deputies' votes”, ends Hoti.
