Ismet Beqiri convinced elections are held this year and that incidents within LDK caused people of other parties

He says September is the final start of the Haradinaj government, until autumn sees it as the due deadline for elections. In an interview, he speaks of preparations for the vote of confidence in Government and incidents within the LDK election assemblies.

The motion of no-confidence for Haradinaj Government, initiated by major opposition parties in the country, has not yet been sent to the Kosovo Assembly.

Despite continuing statements by opposition parties, that it must go to extraordinary elections, since this government can no longer lead the country, there are still no concrete actions for its collapse.

According to Ismet Beqiri, additional votes are needed for the no-confidence motion, which he hopes will be secured in September, when he even sees the time appropriate for intensifying their work towards the collapse of the Government.

“We will gradually make efforts that after the election process that I hope we will fully carry out we will go to work and of course I cannot say before, but I believe September is the beginning of the end of this government, in terms of our preparations and to proceed with the motion, of course we will need an additional vote. I am convinced that within this year there will be elections, this autumn is the best time of”, Beqiri says.

For Beqiri, it is surprising when others claim they do not tear down Haradinaj Government with votes from the Serbian List.

He recalls the time when the same government was created waiting for Serbian List deputies to vote and says all governments will be elected by the votes of those who are MPs.

But Beqiri stresses that they do not prepare motions with expectations on the Serbian List or in any agreement with them.

This government, past governments and governments in the future have to be elected by vote to all those who are Kosovo's Parliament deputy, because we have the constitution. All deputies, because you can't deny anybody to vote or vote for it if it's an MP, but we're not going to prepare the motion by believing we get the votes of the Serbian List, or by agreement with them, under any circumstances, but when the motion goes to the Parliament, whoever votes it, it's a deputy, as if this government has voted the Serbian List, and you know they've waited until they've come from Serbia when they've gone to negotiate with the Serbian List, it shouldn't shift the attention to the Serbian List, but that's a lot of problems that's in this case, he says.

Beqiri says they are in talks with opposition subjects, even people who are not in opposition, regarding the no-confidence motion.

The LDK Secretary General also talks about developments within the LDK and the elections being held in the convents.

According to him, the real LDK is not in the incidents, isolated, as he calls them, which have recently occurred in some subdeges.

Beqiri says people of other political subjects who have entered the LDK's sub-side election assemblies with names are known to do so in order to hurt the party.

There is no doubt that there have been even participants, members of other subjects, or who have not met the Democratic League of Kosovo, however, we all have to make an effort to manage such situations, even though it's difficult, sometimes at a rate where there are 200-300 people, can infiltrate when it's open door. We have evidence, in certain branches are of names, where there are after incidents, there are other subjects, if only 1 case is, it is the outstanding interest of other subjects for harm, because measurements show that LDK is subject to number 1 in Kosovo, not only the opposition, but generally as political party”, Beqiri says.

Asked whether the LDK's attention has shifted to the processes within the party, and as a result they have not prosecuted the no-confidence motion further, Beqiri denies it.

According to him, those who are misgoverning with Kosovo are interested in shifting attention to events that took place within the LDK, making efforts to cover up government scandals.
