Inconsistencies on the roof: Few exiles in the Assembly, and even fewer deputies received them

Even this year, Kosovo's Assembly has organised traditional activity “Bankers in the Parliament”, where all of its countrymen can visit the Assembly and meet with MPs, but the interest of exiles to visit this institution today was quite small. But even for the wait, it is not that the MPs had taken [...]
This day of his vacation in Kosovo, Wisar Bakoli, who has been living in Germany for 15 years, had chosen to start by visiting the Kosovo Assembly, where he has expressed his concerns as an exile.
While expressing his dissatisfaction with the work of Kosovo's Parliament, Bakoli says the problem for them remains the functioning of Albanian education in Germany, as well as the possibility of voting due to the removal of citizenship, since Germany allows only one citizenship.
I mean, how is it viewed within the Parliament is very good, but working with us as diaspora, although I'm not much in Germany, I've been 14-15 years, but we're not completely satisfied with work at all. We as diaspora are concerned with a lot of things where our children or our teachers are not paid by the Government of Kosovo but paid by the Germans even though there are some republics who don't pay them at all ... I'm a German citizen who has now been forced to undermine citizenship where I don't believe I have the right to vote where other states have a chance of co-operation, the Government of Kosovo and Germany have two citizenship options behind me, he says.
He says the only hope for diaspora solutions and problems remains the election of Albin Kurti as Kosovo prime minister.
We hold a hope to Mr. Albin Kurti that when he becomes prime minister I give him a much better and much better approach, because he's a very capable man, they're all tired of Thaci, Ramush, and we've all proven this that we've still tried”, says Bakoli.
This exile's concerns were heard and answered by Vetevendosje Movement MP Ali Lajqi, who said the demand to keep Albanian education alive in exile is necessary.
Viewing the diaspora as a very valuable resource for Kosovo, Vetevendosje MP said institutions should be more careful about this value of our society.
Lajqi said further that in countries not recognised Kosovo's passport, the opportunity must be seen to create conditions for voting for Kosovo citizens living there.
The request to keep education in Albanian so much needed, the possibility of funding that had to be very necessary, but must be found, support must be unique. Even other cultural developments and organisations that are done for various manifestations, even organizing with associations there are right and they are doing it and we can see what we can on the other hand to help, represent them in the work of the Parliament, representing them in the Kosovo Assembly with MPs, even to the scale of ministries of”, Lajqi said.
And the lack of deputies who have turned out to welcome fellow countrymen who will visit the Kosovo Assembly, Lajqi argued, saying it is now a vacation time.
Otherwise, the doors of the Kosovo Assembly will be open for fellow countrymen today until 4: 00 p.m., as well as during tomorrow.
