Minister of European Integration, Gift Hoxha, is reporting to the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Diaspores and Strategic Investment.
It in this commission revealed details concerning visa liberalisation, until it added that the cause of migration France is reluctant to lift visas for Kosovo.
“against positive recommendations and meeting the criteria we are awaiting a decision by the Council. The breakthrough of this process has contributed to the political context in the EU, and especially the elections. Until recently, we have not had a decision or position of Germany, we have been supported by the foreign minister, but we have not had support from the interior minister. At the meeting the prime minister has voiced support but there is no action behind him. Of the reluctant countries are France, the Netherlands and Belgium”, Hoxha has said, KTV reports.
France's “Brenga remains migration. Despite the fact that we are not even at the 30th top of the countries where illegal migration comes from”, she said.
She has said that joining the Council of Ministers agenda would not happen unless there is broad consensus.
“E of this initiative we expect to take one of the member states to put the visa liberalisation issue on the working groups”.
The next meeting of the Council is following the new organs' institution, while Hoxha has said the Council's upcoming meeting is expected by the end of October.
