Prizren Mayor Mytaher Haskuka has clarified on public opinion that cows that have been subsidised by Prizren's municipalities for farmers are originally from Slovakia. The truck they brought in had Serbia's license plates, which municipal officials reacted to from other parties after Kosovo has imposed a 100 per cent tax on Serbian products, Klan Kosova reports.
Haskuka said these are slander and dezinformation of public opinion and that they are being done to overshadow a transparent process.
Animal origin is identified by animal identification signs (tooths attached to ear) and accompanying documents such as passports and medical certificates, not by transport plates. So 99 leaders that the Prizren municipality has distributed to farmers are from Slovakia, and that confirms even the animal's passport in photo”.

Some PDK and AAK officials have been disinforming public opinion by slandering milk cows from Serbia.
The origin of animals is identified by animal identification marks (the muths çarills placed in the ear) and accompanying documents such as passports and health certificates of veterinarians, rather than by license plates.
So 99 leaders the Prizren municipality has distributed to farmers, descended from Slovakia, and confirms that even the animal passport in the picture.
As far as animal transport is concerned, it is done by economic operator according to European standards and legal provisions in force, meeting conditions such as lighting, ventilation, food and drink water, while the operator is obliged to use a conform transport device.
Also under the Public Procurement Law, the municipality must treat economic operators equally and cannot define discrimination criteria, in this case to determine the registration of the transport vehicle.
All these claims are intended to overshadow a very transparent and professional process in selecting our municipality's profitable farmers. Unlike this year when we had a record number of applicants, in 2016 there was no public call or distribution on party grounds, but in 2017 the project was not accomplished at all.
We will continue with our work, while for the slanderers we have only begun the lawsuit proceedings at the court.
